Restore - Synopsis
Synopsis
‘Restore’ is the story of a father and son. David is a young man who struggles with a fractured family and the perceived mediocrity of his life. His father, Max, is a man who has had a long journey of personal breakdown and alcoholism. As David drifts away from the core of his own family, he reflects on his father’s life, from his young life during the Second World War, to his involvement in the hippie movement during Vietnam. Through the circumstances of history and personal choices, their family has become broken. The question is if and how it will be restored.
